Keeping your account secure

Security that's built in

Every Payvora account comes with bank-grade protections: encrypted data in transit and at rest, continuous monitoring for unusual activity, and mandatory verification steps before money can move.

Sensitive actions — large transfers, card issuance, and personal details changes — always require a fresh confirmation from you, so a stolen password alone is never enough to reach your funds.

2

Turn on multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) pairs your password with a rotating code from your authenticator app, so only you can sign in — even if someone learns your password.

You can enroll in Settings in under a minute. We recommend enabling it before your first transfer.

3

Spot and avoid phishing

Payvora will never ask for your password, verification codes, or full card number by email, phone, or chat. Treat any message that does as fraudulent.

  • Check the sender address before clicking links, and navigate to Payvora by typing the address yourself
  • Never share verification codes with anyone — including people claiming to be support agents
  • Report suspicious messages to Support so we can act quickly
4

Use your card controls

Every virtual card has instant controls: lock or unlock it with one tap, set spending limits, and freeze a card permanently if it's compromised. Cards you don't use should stay locked.

Reviewing your card activity weekly takes minutes and catches problems early.

If something looks wrong

Act immediately. Lock the affected card, change your password, enable MFA if you haven't, and contact Support with the details. Prompt reporting gives us the best chance to recover funds and protect your account.
